President Infinity 2020 v. 1.8c for Windows and Mac has been released!

This release adds

  • Historical campaigns > updated all party images
  • Ads Screen > Run > fixed bug where goes back to Main Screen
  • Ads Screen > Strategy Screen > tooltip on region > fixed bug where didn’t show proper tooltip
  • Primaries > party where leader selection process is ‘none’ (ex. Bloomberg) > fixed bug that would crash game on start

The game will install as ‘President Infinity 2020‘. Make sure to run that file, not the older President Infinity app.

Keyboard shortcuts, sound, and Editor are forthcoming.

Installation instructions:

Windows: download (see below) and run the installer.

Windows playing notes: if in full-screen mode, use Alt + Tab to switch back to your other apps when in the game.

Mac: download (see below), decompress (if not done automatically), and then move app file to your Applications.

This is a comprehensive update.

  2. For the past few versions, I’ve been having a crash during primaries whenever the first major party primary state (Iowa) votes. I’ll be stuck on the “Processing Turn” screen at 14% and the game won’t advance past that point.

    The weird thing is I can monitor a primary either as observer or as a candidate who does nothing during their turns. If I’m campaigning, creating ads, targeting states, etc., I simply cannot advance past a primary vote.

    The issue is mainly on custom campaigns, but I do still have it on the base 2020 campaign. Won’t always happen on the first primary but Super Tuesday busts the game at 14% processing turn.

  5. If I don’t offer someone the VP early then I don’t see an option to choose a VP at the end of the primary in this version.
