Upcoming President Infinity – Version 2.7.2

This post will keep track of changes to the upcoming version of President Infinity v. 2.7.2.

Changes so far since previous sneak-peek release (this list will be updated as changes are implemented on this side, these changes will not be available until the version is released):

  • Player Info Screen > hover over platform icon > removed ‘View Platform’ text
  • fixed bug > Relations Screen, Offers Screen > hover over button > hover text > doesn’t display properly
  • Ads Screen > can press Esc to close screen
  • Main Screen > Activities > can press Esc to return to Main Screen
  • Research Screen > can press Esc to return to Main Screen
  • Endorsers Screen > can press Esc to return to Main Screen
  • Spin Screen > can press Esc to return to Main Screen, including can Esc out of Interviews popup
  • Theme Screen > can press Esc to return to Main Screen
  • Notes Screen > can press Esc to return to Main Screen
  • Electoral Vote (Constituency) Screen > can press Esc to return to Strategy Screen or Main Screen
  • Player Info Screen > can press Esc to return to Main Screen
  • 2016 > Primaries > Republican > Idaho > added two new polls, one for Dec. 29th, 2015, one for August 31st, 2015

  2. Overall I’m a very big fan of the new update. I do have a few suggestions while you’re updating the various screens, though. Some hotkeys would be very helpful to those of us who don’t like how much you have to move the mouse in this game.

    For example, having ESC close most screens and return you to the map would remove the necessity to manually click the X, which can get tiresome when you’re going through many screens. I would recommend that it take you back to the last screen. For example, if you are looking at surrogate creation and are at the screen where you choose a surrogate, the first ESC takes you back to the general surrogate screen and the second takes you back to the map.

    Another feature making gameplay more fluid would be the ability to create ads in bulk without having to make each one individually. I find myself often creating 10-12 ads at a time when momentum shifts my way and gives me additional CP, and I create ads in bulk. Maybe a simple line for how many of that ad you’d like to produce.

    Assembly line production of ads, like one a week set, would be interesting and helpful as well. Just some ideas thrown out there that would greatly improve my experience as a gamer.
