2.4.7 (not released yet)
- Editor > make new party > now copies source party’s ballot access for all constituencies to new party
- House 2016 > California-4 > McClintock > 40% -> 60%
- House 2016 > Reps > Super PAC > American Crossroads -> Congressional Leadership Fund
- Senate 2016 > Reps > Super PAC > American Crossroads -> Senate Leadership Fund
You mentioned there was a set on/off all ballots button, where is that exactly?
@Jack,
I don’t believe there is such a button. If creating a new party, on-off ballot is set to the values of the party used to create the new party.
Hi everyone,
Particularly interested in feedback on the House 2016 campaign – did I get anything wrong in the districts you’re familiar with? Any candidates running who seem especially strong or weak? Any %s that aren’t supported by polling?
Also people familiar with Lousiana, who are the main contenders in the House seats?
I thought I had read in the comments of the announcements about all of the updates that there would be one. I must have been mistaken.
@Jack,
It’s on the to-do list.
NY-22 has an indy candidate, Martin Babinec, polling in the 20s to 30s. Plans?
Also, how exactly does Tom McClintock get defeated every single time I run a game?
@anthony,
When u create a new party it’s actually quite annoying because it only sets to the on-off ballot settings of the party used to create it in the first district. For example if I use the Republican Party as a base for a new party it only turns on ballot in California for CA-1 and I have to manually turn them on in all the other California districts.
@Chris,
Thanks for this! I have verified there is a bug in the code for this. Should be fixed for official release.
@Chris,
Fixed in latest internal.
@Arjav,
Thanks for this. Fixed in latest internal.
House 2016 > California-4 > McClintock > 40% -> 60%
@Arjav re NY-22,
Because Babinec doesn’t seem to be close at this point ( http://www.pressconnects.com/story/news/local/2016/11/03/new-poll-finds-ny-22-two-person-race/93267438/ ), he will probably be left off. If there are multiple independents that have a significant chance of winning their races, an independent party can be made.
