Did we the SC vote on changes for this release? I forget what the next update is supposed to have.
2016 > The Letterman Show -> The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
@Jonathan,
7 days per turn is the next major feature being worked on for PI.
2016 > incumbent party for Indiana, North Carolina Dem – > Rep.
Charlie Baker (Governor of MA) starts out as an automatic endorser for Deval Patrick.
@Eric,
Thanks for this – it should be fixed in the next update.
@Anthony
Here’s a new ranking of the candidates that might be useful to look at: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2015/01/12/trail-to-the-chief_n_6432540.html
@Jonathan, I read the article. While the biased views are clearly shown in the article, this would simply mess the way current rankings are in-game. Where is Sarah Palin, Nikki Haley, and Michele Bachmann? They could run, and for that matter, why is the Huffington Post speculating so many male candidates for the GOP slate of candidates? I would like to see the article include Sarah Palin, Bachmann, and a few others..
@anthony recent article(s) mention of a new pac calling Sarah Palin to run for President in 2016. “America needs Governor Palin’s leadership as a commonsense Constitutional Conservative not to continue to fundamentally change America, but to restore America. The American people are ready for a leader with integrity, who has been thoroughly vetted and has proven she will work to rid our government of the cronyism that gets in the way of doing the people’s work.” http://californianewswire.com/2015/01/07/CNW22882_143828.php/palin-supporters-announce-formation-of-the-political-earthquake-pac-grassroots4palin/
I think you should develop senate/house/gubernatorial debates.
You should have countries when you click in. Counties the candidate can visit this would make the he game more advanced. You should actually show the districts and zoom in if its in large cities. And what engine/ machine do you use to make the game?
@Dallas
I think if Palin and Bachmann or Haley are really considering running, then they should be on that list; however, they are never discussed except on Tea Party owned sites. Larry Sabato doesn’t mention them on his ranking either. Susana Martinez is the only female GOP ever mentioned.
I expect none of them to run. To they’ll probably just support Cruz if he runs. If Cruz doesn’t run, then maybe one of them will.
I think they know they won’t be elected. Only establishment candidates get elected from either party. If they aren’t initially establishment, they start leaning that way. Even Reagan and Obama became establishment candidates while initially running as Conservative and Liberal respectively.
Can you please release congress 2012 on Mac? Are yall almost done?
Can you also make sure that the campions that come with it 2010 and 2008 come with Mac as well
I would also like it if you added it with congress 2014 as an update
When spinning a story, the recap screen always says the spinning was successful even if it wasn’t.
Also, George H.W. Bush really ought to start as an endorser for his son instead of up for grabs.
I agree with Eric. I’ve had two games in which Bush I disgraces his son to endorse someone else. I also think, due to his health, that he should be limited on how many days he can be a surrogate.

Carly Fiorina should be added, as she seems like she’s putting together a campaign.
Election 2016: Carly Fiorina Could Join GOP Field

Like Erix mentioned, adding Carly would not be a bad idea. From the above article:
“I am seriously considering it. I haven’t made a decision, but I think there is a need perhaps for a different perspective, a different set of experiences and different voices,” she said. “I think I’ll probably make a decision one way or another in the March, April time frame.”
~But she would be distinctive. She is currently the only woman on the Republican side who appears to be building a campaign.~
@Dallas
Wow, she was born in Austin, TX.
Yeah, I heard that she’s considering running as well.
Anyone have any idea how to fix the bug where general election candidates continue to run ads against opponents from the primary?
I’ve had three games now where Hillary continues to run ads bashing Warren while running against Republicans in the general.
The Economist shouldn’t always endorse a Republican. It should be centrist or center-left. http://www.economist.com/blogs/democracyinamerica/2012/11/us-presidential-endorsements
According to their own admission they voted:
Obama in 2012
Obama in 2008
Kerry in 2004
GW Bush in 2000
Dole in 1996
Clinton in 1992
No endorsement in 1988 (thought neither candidate was presidential)
No endorsement in 1984 (had reservations about Reagan)
Reagan in 1980
I’d say that is at least Centrist, not center-right.
@Jim,
Thanks for this – I’ve noted it.
@Jonathan,
I agree that the Economist should be centrist – noted.
@Eric and Jonathan re H.W. Bush,
Fixed in the latest internal – he is now a surrogate for Jeb Bush, with a Lasts for Days of 1, and a tweaked Barnstorming 2 -> 3.
@Mr. Awesome,
Do you mean House and Senate campaigns for Congress Infinity? We’ve just released the House 2016 campaign, and historical campaigns will be added moving forward – Mac and Windows. There’s no ETA at this point, but 2012 should be the next ones added.
@Eric re spinning message,
Thanks for this – noted.
Will yall have an update to turn Mike Huckabee automatically on?
@Kevin,
Probably, if he continues to make clear sounds that he intends to run.
